Bethany Depot Plaza

One unrealized dream is an outdoor stage building downtown where community events like concerts, recitals, movies, outdoor farmers’ or flea markets, weddings, reunions and other public events can be held. The building would have indoor dressing areas and restrooms, a storage room and an open-to-outside stage. The audience would be outside, but people performing are able to enter the stage from inside the structure. Local architect Troy Rhodes completed the design plans for the Bethany Depot Plaza several years ago. We are waiting for a location and a source for funds before the City of Bethany will consider the project.
